The Mode Prep point guard came up to Washington via Utah and provided some steady point play for Mode. He’s a guard with good balance, can take it inside, keep plays alive, and shoots the 3-ball at a good clip. He’s recently received an offer from Colorado Northwestern.

Hansen is a “Floor General”; the way he sees the floor at all times is something that stands out about his game. If you need a next-level player that can see the floor and move the ball, Hansen is a player you need to watch. When he does drive the ball, he uses different levels to get by defenders and get paint touches. Even on drives, he keeps his vision up finding players based on defensive help.

Hansen had a great weekend in California. Hansen made some tough shots on the move and he also found ways to attack and get some paint touches. Hansen is a player that uses a lot of movement to get open and he finishes in traffic. He had a great weekend and is set to have a year of growth over at Utah Prep this coming high school season.

This kid is a talented shooter. The high quality shots that he took this weekend and the percentage that he had shooting the ball was very impressive. Roy has some firepower with Hansen out on the floor. you can already hear it every time he is on the floor floor players and coaches yelling out “shooter” that is the type of game Hansen brought to the Expo, elite shooting.

This kid will rise up the rankings and we have already moved him up on the back end. Savvy PG that can absolutely shoot the ball. W⚽️ ith the 3-point shot really changing the game he could be a game changer as he showed he does not need a ton of space to shoot the ball. Even though he was defended by a few taller players he was able to have enough space and create enough separation to shoot the ball. Impressive showing and he let the game come to him, which is hard in this kind of setting.

Hansen has been making strides as he is turning into a much improved two way player. On defense he is getting low and using those active hands. He is picking up steals and making things happen with his footwork and added strength. On offense he is shooting the ball better and he is catching ready to shoot. That includes beyond the arc and taking a few dribbles to get to that midrange.
