About Ayouba

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile big who can shoot, rebound, and defend. I focus on locking up my man, scoring, and creating for teammates—playing like Cooper Flagg, AJ Dybantsa, and Jaden McDaniels.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is that nobody can stop me when I'm doing what I know how to do best. And whatever anybody on the court can do, I can do better.e

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I won 1st place in the MYAS fall league 12u, and I received an MVP ring on 1/18/26 in the Dream Classic event. My team won first place for the 12u 'A' bracket at the MN Heat Shoot Your Shot tournament, and in school, I got two honor rolls, and I also got 2nd place in the Gopher State Championship for spring (11u).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve grown as a leader—communicating better, staying positive, and keeping my team connected.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced setbacks—moments where I shut down, lost focus, or doubted myself. But each challenge has made me tougher. I’ve learned to bounce back, lead through adversity, and keep growing no matter what’s in front of me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college that can help me achieve my dreams of making it to the NBA, and help with my academics in case basketball doesn't work out
