White is a sturdy point guard who showed that he can operate as a creator and a scorer. I really liked how he was able to get to different spots off the bounce. He also had four three pointers and finished with 14 points in a win. I like the energy that White plays with whenever he steps onto the floor.

White had a clutch drive and score to send his Spire post grad teams game to overtime where he made more plays at the rim to help his team escape with the win. White has a quick first step and can make acrobatic finishes in the paint. When White attacked downhill he made some basic reads to find the open man. Hoping to see White shoot the ball on the perimeter with more confidence, right now he’s a slashing guard looking to get to the rim whenever possible.

White led Mpire MHC on a solid championship run in the tournament. White used his above-average basketball IQ and finishing ability to drop 20 points against Hoop Academy Black (65-54). White uses calculated penetrations on limited dribbles to get to his spot. His court awareness allows him to get proper spacing on his offensive attack and upper body strength results in a balanced, controlled finish on a reacting defender.

Steady ball handler. Crafty finisher in the paint, does a good job of avoiding shot blockers. Stepped up down the stretch after injuries to the backcourt and showed he could run a team and score the ball at a high level. Quick stop and pop shooter.

Points were at a premium in Milton’s 49-44 win at Pace Academy. Avery came up clutch in the fourth quarter, netting 7 of his 11 points while going 5-5 from the line. White made some plays downhill, squirting through the defense and showing an ability to convert tough baskets in traffic. He did a great job defensively disrupting the Pace Academy backcourt.
