Powell was a post player that stood out last year at the Freshman Showcase. Honestly, I haven’t seen him play since last year, so I’m really excited to see how his game has grown. Last year he was a hustler that set solid screens and rolled off of it with intent.

Powell made a statement about his game at the Sophomore ID Camp. I really like the energy and grit that he brought to the table at the event. Powell had a strong frame and he had the physical game to match it and utilize it. He worked hard off the ball, where he would regularly screen for the ball handler and roll off it with hand high ready for the pass. Powell played big by staying active around the glass.
