Osinski leaves his mark on the game as a marksman from beyond the arc. He thrives as hunting for his own shot when playing off of the basketball. If his feet are set there is a high chance he is connecting from deep. He made others better by making the extra pass and finding teammates in good spots on the floor to convert scoring chances. He used his length to be in driving and passing lanes to get steals.

JJ’s younger brother, Austin, is another key piece for Valente Rocks’ 17U team, and he impressed me quite a bit this weekend. Austin is built just like his brother, but he’s a better shooter from outside and absolutely went off against The Club. He can make shots off the dribble or off the catch, and he has a beautiful release that makes me confident he’ll continue to get even better as a marksman. If he can get to the same athleticism as his brother, he could be another scholarship kid. What a weekend for Osinski, who showed out while playing up.

Good size at the lead guard spot. Can find teammates using his bounce pass when running the break. Has a nose for gathering steals. Knocks down shots when playing off the ball from three flat out knows how to score. He gets in the mix on the glass and doesn’t rush his shot attempt on the 2nd chance effort. Doesn’t let the ball stick to his hands.
