Aston McLean was one of the more impressive distributors at the North CP3 National Middle School Combine, displaying excellent passing instincts and an ability to create offense for his teammates. McLean consistently delivered quality passes that put others in favorable scoring positions, demonstrating a strong understanding of timing, spacing and how to take advantage of defensive breakdowns. His ability to see plays develop and deliver the basketball accurately made him a difficult player to defend, particularly when he was operating as the primary facilitator. McLean was more concerned with generating efficient offensive possessions than looking for individual scoring opportunities, and that unselfishness translated into winning basketball.
