​Shelby displayed a maturity about his game during 3vs3  and 5vs5 action at the Prep Hoops Sophomore Showcase, letting plays develop organiclly and playing at an impressive pace. Venturing in from Mississippi to compete against the best of Louisiana in his clasa speak volumes about his confidence and swagger. Standing 6’1″, he has great positional size for a young guard and he used it well to absorb contact and dictate tempo during his games.  His mixture of size, patience, and touch puts pressure on the varsity players to perform of Shelby will steal their minutes. Shelby has a great foundation as a 2029 Mississippi prospect to monitor closely through this upcoming Highschool season.
