One of the most productive players in the Columbus City League this winter, Diedalis was one of the top athletes at the workout and had a sweet dunk off a backdoor cut in the 3 on 3 portion to help set the tone for his afternoon. While I knew Diedalis could score and rebound, he made some really nice passes to cutters this afternoon for easy looks. A priority recruit for numerous small college programs across the state, it’ll be interesting to see where Diedalis chooses to play next season.

Centennial has a nice mix of talent this season and Diedalis got some quality experience at the varsity level last season and enters this year as a senior leader for their group. Diedalis can space the floor and rebound, two very important skills for forwards at the college level. If Centennial is going to compete for a city league championship, Diedalis will be a key part of their team as an experienced senior leader in the paint.

Diedalis had a double-double in Centennial’s blowout victory over Whitehall on Saturday morning to open up the event. A stretch big, Diedalis knocked down a handful of 3-pointers in the first half and crashed the glass hard in the second half with his size. I thought Centennial had some solid pieces across all four grades and should be one of the best teams in the Columbus City League this season.
