Ortiz is a crafty guard whose handle allows him to split defenders and create opportunities for both himself and his teammates. He has a reliable pull up midrange game that he can get to going either direction, making him difficult to defend. On the defensive end, Ortiz is active with his hands and constantly looks to force turnovers. Around the basket, his touch stands out as he consistently finishes floaters and high arcing shots over bigger defenders.

A flashy guard who plays with energy and emotion, Ortiz, was a huge piece in their win over the Miami Blue Rays. He has a quick first step where he looks to attack the basket, and also has the ability to stop on a dime and knock down the mid-range jumper. He prides himself on defense and won’t ever back down from an assignment.

A quick, shifty PG, Ortiz, has great court vision and looks to get his teammates involved, but can also score when needed. He shoots the 3-ball well, but really excels when attacking the basket. He has elite handles and a quick first step, and gets great elevation on his jump shot.

The Plant City phenom point guard, Ortiz, is an absolute delight to watch. His combination of speed and incredible handle makes him an unstoppable force on the court. Ortiz is gradually establishing himself as the team’s floor general. He’s a lethal three-point shooter who can’t be defended when he’s on the perimeter. Angel’s speed and handle allow him to do whatever he wants with the ball. The sophomore is also incredibly athletic and can leap out of the gym to block shots and grab rebounds. Expect to hear this player’s name in talks all season as Tampa’s premier point guard.
