Purnell earned All-State honors after averaging 15.5 points and 3.9 assists per game for the Panthers, showcasing his ability to impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker. The sophomore has high-level quickness and can consistently get by his defender, putting pressure on the paint. He is also highly active on the defensive end, averaging 4.4 steals per game, using his instincts and speed to disrupt opposing offenses and create transition opportunities.
