Lewis is finally starting to get the type of recognition that he deserves. All the physical tools are there. He’s tall, long and very athletic. He’s a playmaker from multiple spots on the floor, which gives him some positional versatility. Lewis has the ability to shoot from the mid range and beyond. The Expo would be a great place for him to send the state a message about his game.

Lewis was lights out at the Hillsdale Elite Camp! He’s really come into his own as a player. Lewis was smooth and athletic, but not just around the rim. His feet looked good and he looked comfortable when the ball hit his hands, even on the perimeter. Lewis could be seen hitting a couple jumpers to go with his aggressive and attacking style.

Lewis helped lead his Portage Northern squad to a 14-2 record this June. He seems primed for a big July and beyond. Lewis showed off some concise 2 dribble perimeter combo moves that created space to get a clean jumper off. He looked athletic and showed touch at the rim.

Lewis was really impressive at the Michigan State Tournament when got into attack mode. There was definitely chatter about his play. He was able to find even just a sliver of space, slip through it and get to the rim where he finished or drew a foul. The athletic wing was dangerous when he got downhill.

Lewis has simply gotten the job done so far this season. He has a knack for finding and attacking lanes, and has proven to be slippery and tough to defend when he does. Lewis can make athletic plays look easy and has a nose for the ball around the rim.
