Cobbin got on our radar at the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase and ended up playing a nice role as a freshman for Akron STVM this winter. Cobbin is a quick athlete in the open court who provides good two-way impact. It’s rare to find a wing who wants to defend like Cobbin does at the varsity level and his impact on that end allowed him to stay on the floor for the Irish this winter. If Cobbin continues to grow and develops a 3-point shot, then he has a chance to become one of the best players in northeast Ohio by the time he’s an upperclassman.
