Sow is a rim rattling post who makes a living above the rim on either end of the floor. He has great timing when going up to alter a shot. He is very active on the glass and finds ways to secure rebounds. He runs the floor like a deer. Sow is an effective screen & roller in the two man game in the half court. He was a great early pickup up for Tennessee-Martin and wouldn’t be surprised if he makes an immediate impact the OVC.

Sow had some loud buckets in Montour’s victory over North Canton Hoover. One of the tallest players in Pennsylvania, Sow was playing above the rim offensively with a couple of dunks. Light off his feet and flashing the ability to handle the basketball, Sow was a tough cover all game. At the end of the second and third quarters Sow had buckets just before the buzzer sounded and these plays helped Montor extend leads they would narrowly hold on to. A name to watch at the Division I level, Sow is already committed to Ut Martin.

Sow is an athletic 5 who uses his size and his athleticism on both ends of the floor. He is an assertive shot blocker & rebounder and is in the right place at the right time. He is electric from the dunker spots. Sow is assertive as a screen and roller and is a viable option to be played through in the half-court. Sow flew off the board early with a commitment in June to UT-Martin.

Ama Tening Sow is a force on both ends of the floor and showed why he is receiving looks from several high majors throughout the country by scoring 20 points in a variety of different ways. Sow has elite lateral quickness and projects as a multi-positional defender at the next level. He’s a strong rebounder and has plenty of untapped potential — showing off an impressive handle by bringing the ball up the floor to initiate offense and run the floor in transition. He has an elite first step and freakish athleticism but also showed that he can hit shots from the outside when teams dare him to shoot it.
