Alex played with an aggressive offensive mindset and consistently looked to make something happen. His mentality can be valuable because it puts pressure on the defense and keeps him from disappearing within the flow of the game. The next step is learning when to attack and when to let the possession breathe. He forced the action at times, so better pace, earlier reads and a willingness to trust the next pass will help his aggression produce cleaner shots. If he can channel his motor without rushing the game, he has the tools to become a more reliable two-way presence this season.

McCoy is a capable scoring wing with an impressive release on his perimeter jump shot. He also showed the ability to attack the rim off the dribble and finish in the paint. He is active on the defensive end and scored 10 points in one of the games we evaluated on Saturday.
