Mumaw is a intriguing post prospect who does a little bit of everything and impacts winning at a high level. He can score it well down low and is patient, knowing how to use pump fakes and head fakes to get defenders up in the air while also using his strength to go right threw inferior defenders. He shows every so often the ability to stretch the floor from deep as well with a pretty looking jump shot. Mumaw plays with a lot of IQ as well, he sets a lot of screens that free up the shooters Pickens has in mass and also does a nice job of making inside out passes to find those guys. Defensively he is a high level rebounder and does a nice job of communicating to others. He is definitely a dream post for a small college basketball program looking to fill the 4 spot.

Mumaw is a tenacious post who although doesn’t have the most size at the post position, plays well above his given height. He battles in the lane to score some tough buckets off pump fakes combined with some nice footwork. He does a ton of the intangibles as well rebounding, blocking shots, and bringing high energy to an undersized but scrappy group. His intensity and tenacity alone earns him a look from next level coaches looking to polish off their recruiting class. 

The left-handed forward is comfortable operating on the low block as well as in the high post, giving his offense versatility within the half-court. Mumaw shows good feel as a passer, especially from the free-throw line area where he can hit cutters or shooters when defenses collapse. He’s capable of putting the ball on the deck and scoring when defenders relax, taking advantage of gaps with decisive moves. On the glass, Mumaw rebounds with effort and toughness, carving out space and finishing possessions. His combination of touch, passing instincts, and interior presence makes him a steady contributor who impacts the game in multiple ways.

I appreciated the effort Aiden brought to the Pickens frontline. The lefty battled for the full 32 minutes, collecting 4 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. He was able to take his man off the dribble for a driving layup as his lone field goal. Aiden spent time on the low block and in the high post where he served as a savvy passer.
