Kone is a forward who embodied the term: playing with his hair on fire. The well-built and explosive four man was all over the offensive and defensive boards, guarded multiple perimeter positions and protected the rim with his physical interior play and vertical athleticism when contesting at the rim. Offensively, Kone generated offense with his energy and toughness by earning second chance opportunities, screening and rolling for high percentage layups and he attacked the rim on straight-line drives.

Strong upper body prospect who continues to add pices to his overall game. He’s productive around the basket, starting to hit the paint jumper. He’s cutting across the lane, balancing and finishing. His improvement is showing away from the basket, from the top and around the perimeter. He’s using a couple of dribbles on balance to get into the paint.

He’s a solid body with good strength, and activity around the basket at the 15u level. He has good lift to finish around the rim, and go after rebounds. He’ll use one hard to gather and power up. He’s bit raw but gives good effort against quality competition. JGE 15 3SSB.
