Chad Graham | Prep Hoops Scout
In the program’s first season under Coach Pat Woods, Tucker led the Royals in points, assists, and steals and to an ESIAC championship. The budding floor general was the straw that stirred the Royals’ drink on offense, showcasing his skill moving defenders with his eyes and running an offense. So even though Tucker plays down in Sussex County, his instincts as a two-way playmaker make him one of the best guards in his class.

A new prospect on the radar, Tucker is a bit off the beaten path but has been off to a promising start to his high school career in downstate Delaware. The starting point guard with the ball in his hands for the majority of the game, Tucker shoulders a heavy burden with the poise of an upperclassman. He shows a slick handle while quarterbacking the offense and working to his spots consistently as a scorer. Tucker found success working downhill off the bounce while also stretching defenses with deep range as a perimeter shooter. He’ll need to hone in on his ball security and work to add some muscle to his frame over time, but Tucker is definitely a prospect worth monitoring and looks to already be one of the more effective lead guards in the Eastern Shore region.
