Here we are at the end of the month of May. Prospects didn’t get to tune up for Grassroots Hoops in March to prepare for the LIVE Periods in April. And normally the month of May is normally the free-agent period in grassroots as teams re-gear up for the Summer. Here are 6 prospects regardless of graduating class who would’ve made an impact.

[player_tooltip player_id="887072" first="Aaron" last="Scott"] 6’6” SF • Legacy School of Sports Sciences • 2021

Aaron just came off of a big junior season at Klein Oak High School. He increased his scoring average by +15 points a game and his rebounding and steals as well. He was going to be playing on Nikes EYBL circuit with the Houston Hoops. The spring LIVE period could’ve really helped him secure some scholarships. He does have one NCAA D1 offer on the table at this moment but would’ve had a lot more. He has also transferred to Legacy School to play a national High School schedule next year. Gets in the paint with ease, great handle on the ball, and can score from all three levels. His stock really sky rocketed from last year.

[player_tooltip player_id="889568" first="Terrance" last="Arceneaux"] 6’7” SF • Beaumont United • 2022

The long athletic sophomore with a long wingspan really burst on the scene last season during his run with JL3 on the E15 circuit. He had a very productive sophomore season for his high school squad and will be the main focus next year and they are dropping a class. He would’ve been playing with JL3 once again on the E16 Circuit of Nike and would’ve had a big impact once again.

[player_tooltip player_id="887047" first="Griffin" last="Datcher"] 6’5” SF • Conroe Oak Ridge • 2021

This big strong wing who is uber athletic and can score from the outside. He also can bang down low and guard the four spot. This year he would’ve been on the Adidas Circuit the 3SSB playing with Team Harden.
