<p>When you head down South and look at the teams and their play in Region 9 it always seems to be a region that will give you everything they have. That was apparent in state play last season as Dixie High School made it all the way to the final and was able to upset a 4A favorite. With a few players graduating there will be some changes in region power slightly. New School Crimson Cliffs made it’s debut and they did not disappoint. </p>
<p>Dixie High School graduates one of the more notable players they have had in sometime as [player_tooltip player_id="755562" first="Noah" last="Lemke"] the Dixie State signee moves on he leaves a big whole in Dixie’s system. Dixie ran a open set that allowed him to generate easy dunks as the help rotated. Next season Dixie is going to rely on [player_tooltip player_id="933803" first="Isaac" last="Finlinson"] who has a complete game. He will also be joined by [player_tooltip player_id="955349" first="Ethan" last="Bennett"] which gives them one of the best backcourts in all of 4A. They will be a different look Dixie than they have been in the past but they will still be good. </p>
<p>Cedar City on the other hand brings back some solid size. They will be lead by [player_tooltip player_id="543078" first="Dallin" last="Grant"] and [player_tooltip player_id="933807" first="Luke" last="Armstrong"] two bigs that have skill. Not only will Cedar likely be the favorite in their region but they are arguably one of the best teams coming back in all of 4A. </p>
<p>Snow Canyon could really make a jump with improved play from freshman Lymon Simmons. Lyman is a skilled freshman that held his own against some good competition all year. Snow Canyon could be much improved. </p>
<p>Crimson Ciffs graduates only two players and with a talented freshman group they could really surprise teams with there run and gun style of play. Trei Rockhill can really score in a hurry. [player_tooltip player_id="955328" first="Danny" last="Wade"] is also another player that could really increase his scoring output. </p>
<p>Hurricane and Desert Hills both graduate a lot of players that contributed to their past success. 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="755651" first="Keegan" last="Munson"] of Desert Hills can really play and he will get help from Reggie Newby. Bubba More and Luke Wright are the only notable players returning for Hurricane. </p>
<p>Canyon View won 5 games last season and they could have a similar year as they loose their two top scorers. </p>
<p>Region 9 will be top heavy but those few teams up top could be tough to beat. </p>
