Part Two of the Top Prospects from our updated list of 2021 Prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id="919665" first="Noah" last="Haaland"]- 6'7 PF, Lakeland

One of the top 3-point shooters in the state. With his combination of size, athleticism, and prowess on the offensive side of the court, Haaland has to be one of the best college prospects in the state. As a shooter, there are few in the state who would have the length to be able to contest Haaland's shot. He has fantastic looking form on his release. If he is given a lane to the hoop, look out because there is going to be a highlight reel play done at the rim. His skills on offense are some of the most impressive in the state. He will have the opportunity to show continued growth on both ends of the court over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id="919666" first="Alex" last="Horning"]- 6'5 PF, Post Falls

Horning plays the game with great versatility. He is more of a finesse player than he is a power player. When he gets in the post, he is going to use his speed to get around more lumbering big men. If he is defended by quicker post defenders, Horning can show his variety of post fades and up-and-unders to score with creativity in the post. He is able to stretch the court when the situation calls for it. In transition, Horning is a highlight waiting to happen. He can guard opposing post players who are quite a bit taller than he is. Overall, Horning is a highly versatile player.

[player_tooltip player_id="919668" first="Joe" last="Mpoyo"]- 6'4 SG, Meridian

Mpoyo is an intriguing combo guard. He is a player who has good handles who can make plays in transition with his speed and touch around the basket. Mpoyo has good court vision in finding his teammates when they get open. He has good footspeed and quick hands that allow him to defend opposing guards and force turnovers. Mpoyo is a good shooter. He can pull-up for a shot off the dribble or runs well off of set plays to get open looks. Schools looking for a 2-guard should be taking a look Mpoyo's way.

[player_tooltip player_id="919672" first="Jack" last="Kiesbuy"]- 6'5 SF, Lake City

As a wing player, the southpaw from Lake City has a good skill set on offense. In high school, Kiesbuy has been a starter on varsity every season and is a contributing player on the AAU circuit. He is a bunch of experience with quality minutes and games under his belt. He can shoot from anywhere on the court. Kiesbuy has elite length to be able to get his shot off over any wing defender. Kiesbuy can do it all on offense. His shooting has already been mentioned, but he has an excellent floater in the lane and one of the best midrange shots in the state. Look for what Kiesbuy can do in his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id="554733" first="Day" last="Day Higgins"]- 6'8 C, Lakeside

Day Day is an instant double-double when he steps on a basketball court. He is absolutely relentless when it comes to collecting rebounds. He has incredible length that allows him to tip the ball to himself and gives him those extra inches to be able to win on 50-50 balls. He has good touch around the basket on offense and can even make an open 3. His defensive skills are what makes him a top prospect on this list. Not only his rebounding, but his ability to block the shot of any player who steps on the court. He has denied point guards all the way up to the tallest player in the state. Day Day is a true center who is an elite defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="919706" first="Jacob" last="Ankeny"]- 6'8 C, Marsing

Speaking of centers, enter [player_tooltip player_id="919706" first="Jacob" last="Ankeny"]. In his junior season, Ankeny put up 11 points and 10 rebounds to go along with over 3 blocks a game for Marsing. Ankeny can be a stretch-five or a stretch-four. He can shoot from deep. He has a flat footed shot, but with his length and height, he is able to make it. He has a soft touch in the paint and around the basket. Ankeny has excellent footwork in the post and understanding of how to use the rim to protect himself from defenders. Should the opportunity present itself, Ankeny can take a two-step drop for a thunderous dunk. Ankeny can run the length of the court like a guard and finish with authority at the rim when he gets rewarded in transition. Ankeny is a post player with a strong game on offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="919670" first="Hyrum" last="Lindsey"]- 6'4 PF, Fruitland

Lindsey is a stretch-four prospect. He can open-up the court for penetrating guards with his outside shot. With his excellent length and hussle, Lindsey works hard to find as many available rebounds as possible. If he can get an offensive rebound or has good post position, Lindsey uses his finesse post game to score around the hoop. He can also set up shop at the 15-foot elbow and knock-down shots from there. Look for Lindsey to continue developing his already intriguing game.

Honorable Mention:

[player_tooltip player_id="919673" first="Josh" last="Gillespie"]- 6'3 SG, Mountain View

[player_tooltip player_id="919676" first="Lukas" last="Broadsword"]- 6'6 PF, Century

[player_tooltip player_id="919686" first="Cole" last="Rutherford"]- 6'0 PG, Post Falls

[player_tooltip player_id="969625" first="Dylan" last="Seeley"]- 6'4 SF, Idaho Falls

[player_tooltip player_id="969596" first="Cade" last="Randall"]- 5'10 PG, Kuna
