Jaquan Harris Jaquan Harris 6'4" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State #164 Nation NJ (2022) | St. Thomas Aquinas
Harris already has many Division I programs knocking down his door and rightfully so. The wing player is as complete as they come. Harris was a dynamic shooter from anywhere this season. He also led the Trojans in assists and was second in steals behind Wake Forest commit Quadry Adams Quadry Adams 6'3" | PG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2020 State #361 Nation NJ . Harris will turn into St. Thomas Aquinas’ top option next season and he will have two more years to build his stock up even higher.
Savion Pressley (2022) | Wardlaw-Hartridge
Pressley might be one of New Jersey’s best kept secrets. In the gold division of the GMC, Pressley was near the top of the state in steals with 6.7 per contest. He was dominant on both ends. Pressley scored 22.1 points per game and grabbed 5.4 rebounds. He can do it all on the court. Pressley has a bright future ahead because he has not even reached his ceiling yet.
Yathin Vemula (2022) | South Brunswick
Vemula burst onto the scene for South Brunswick this season during their state championship run. With Devin Strickland Devin Strickland SG South Brunswick | 2020 State NJ and Justin Carbone Justin Carbone 6'4" | SG South Brunswick | 2020 State NJ down low, Vemula ran the point and became a scorer throughout the tournament. He proved to be a capable shooter and could do damage getting to the rim. Vemula finished with 22 points in South Brunswick’s upset win over St. Joe’s Metuchen in the state tournament.
Jalen Thomas (2021) | Dunellen
Dunellen is losing a few of their key players from this season. That leaves Thomas in the best position to step up and become their main option. Thomas is a threat from three-point range and was a nice piece for Dunellen this season. He can get in the lane and score over bigger defenders which is a needed skill for a guard.
Amari Campbell Amari Campbell 6'3" | PG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2022 State NJ (2022) | St. Joe’s Metuchen
There is no team with greater history in Middlesex County than St. Joe’s. Campbell could be next. He was the Falcons’ leading scorer for the beginning third of the season. He seemed to tail off in the points column but he did not step doing the little things. Campbell is a strong athlete that can rebound and defend at a high rate.
