A 5-11 shooting guard with a quick release and extended range on his jumper. He’s a capable ball-handler and decision-maker who needs to add some strength to his frame, which will help him finish at the rim more effectively and turn him into an all-around scoring threat.
Brayden Farver Brayden Farver 6'3" | SG Cherokee | 2021 State IA | SG | Cherokee
A wing scorer with good size at 6-3, Farver shot 40% from behind the arc and averaged 9.3 points a game for Cherokee. He also contributes on the glass.
Cail Weaver Cail Weaver 6'0" | SG West Fork | 2021 State IA | SG | West Fork
A gunner who moves well off the ball and can shoot it at a high level off the catch. He’s also a strong secondary ball-handler who had 37 assists against just 10 turnovers off the bench for the Warhawks. He chipped in 45 steals as he flies all over the floor on that end.
Kolby Kucera Kolby Kucera 6'4" | SF City | 2021 State IA | SF | City
A solid shooting wing with good size at 6-4, Kucera made 40% of his 3s as a junior. He crashes the glass on both ends of the floor and has the size and length to be an effective defender.
Tye Sudbeck Tye Sudbeck 5'11" | SG Sheldon | 2021 State IA | SG | Sheldon
A pure scorer with one of the better strokes in the state, Sudbeck knocked down 60 3-pointers at a 38% clip while averaging over 13 points a game. He doesn’t contribute much in the other areas at this point, but he’s a strong scoring threat.
Colten Sherwood Colten Sherwood 5'10" | SG West Burlington | 2021 State IA | SG | West Burlington
A quality perimeter shooter, Sherwood averaged just under 13 points a game and shot 42% from behind the arc. He’s also a good ball-handler and decision-maker who can get others involved.
Brennan Holder Brennan Holder 6'1" | SG South Central Calhoun | 2021 State IA | SG | South Central Calhoun
Holder saw his efficiency numbers drop from the arc, but he’s a capable 3-point shooter who knocked down 48 as a junior, while also leading the Titans in rebounding. He’s a solid ball-handler who can do a little bit of everything on the floor.
Andre Miller Andre Miller 6'4" | SF City | 2021 State IA | SF | City
Another City High wing with good size at 6-4, Miller moves well without the ball and is a capable shooter from deep. He needs to improve his all-around offensive skill set, as 98 of his 115 field goal attempts came from behind the arc as a junior.
Boone Bain Boone Bain 6'3" | SF Southeast Polk | 2021 State IA | SF | Southeast Polk
A wing with good size, Bain averaged 9.8 points a game for the Rams with 42-43-75 shooting splits. He needs to continue developing his all-around offensive skill set, but he’ll pair with Chase Bartlett Chase Bartlett 6'2" | SG Southeast Polk | 2021 State IA and James Glenn James Glenn 6'2" | PG Sep | 2021 State IA to give SEP a ton of perimeter shooting next season.
Colby Burg Colby Burg 6'0" | SG Creston | 2021 State IA | SG | Creston
He shot 40% from behind the arc and averaged 9.1 points a game for the Panthers. He’s a solid shooter with decent size on the wing.
Zak Wauters Zak Wauters 5'11" | SG Dike-New Hartford | 2021 State IA | SG | Dike-New Hartford
A gunner who shot 45% from behind the arc last season. He’s a decent secondary ball-handling option, but his primary responsibility is to shoot the rock, something he does very well.
Brayden Sobaski Brayden Sobaski 6'3" | SF Pekin | 2021 State IA | SF | Pekin
Sobaski has a bit of a funky looking stroke, but it works for him as he shot 38% from behind the arc as a junior. He contributes on the glass and is a solid team defender.
Cade Pepper Cade Pepper 5'10" | SG MMCRU | 2021 State IA | SG | MMCRU
MMCRU was not good, but Pepper knocked down 82 3-pointers at a respectable 36% clip. He’s a solid shooter who is asked to do a lot for a team without many other weapons.
