<p> The NYSSWA came out with their N Y State class B player of the year. Here are the players who made the first and second teams. Cerebral  player. Makes everyone better, a true point guard. But he has the ability to take over games anytime he wants.  Can finish at rim or drill the three. </p> <p><strong>Zaire Baines   So    5”9    Portledge H S </strong></p> <p> He is fearless.A player who will be on the NYSSWA lists for the next 2 years.  Wouldn’t be surprised to see him topping the list very soon. We have a  detailed report on Zaire on this site,Class of 2022 .</p> <p><strong>Xavier Allen     Sr    6”2     Mattituck H S</strong></p> <p>Scores in a multiple ways.  Really good shooter. Will play at Lander a D2 program in South Carolina a really good get for them. A high quality program that regularly schedules D1 programs.</p> <p><strong>Michael Warren   Jr   5”9   Malverne H S</strong></p> <p>A smooth lefty . Unlimited range. Stand still shooter who can get off his own shot. Very slick to the basket. Weaves his way and finishes.</p> <p><strong>Jarret Dingle    SO    6” 1   Academy Charter H S</strong></p> <p>Only a Sophomore. Really talented player.  He lets the game come to him. It looks like he observes the game while he’s playing and then  he sees what he can get. It might be a pass to an open teammate or his own shot. Mid range game and 3 point shooting deadly. A stat stuffer.  Does everything well . Rebounds, scores. Very heady player. A coaches dream.
