2022 Rankings Update: Top Defenders Outside the Top 50

He has good length and is a high IQ player who positions himself well on that end of the floor and can defend multiple positions. He crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor and is an efficient scorer around the rim. </p> <hr /> <h3 style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="784981" first="Maada" last="Brewah"] | SF | Dowling Catholic</h3> <p>A big, physical wing with good hands on the defensive end of the floor, Brewah finishes well around the bucket and also has a decent looking perimeter stroke. He can defend multiple positions with his size and strength. </p> <hr /> <h3 style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="962659" first="Andreas" last="Williams"] | SG | Cedar Rapids Jefferson</h3> <p>An active defender with good length and hands on that end of the floor, Williams is also a solid ball-handler and finisher at the bucket. He attacks the offensive glass and can make life tough on an opposing ball-handler with his athleticism. </p> <hr /> <h3 style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="962673" first="Sam" last="Remmerde"] | PF | Rock Valley</h3> <p>A well-built, 6-3 forward who controls the glass on both ends of the floor and scores around the bucket. He also proved to be a solid rim protector, blocking 33 shots as a sophomore. </p> <hr /> <h3 style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="962687" first="Connor" last="State"] | PF | Clarion-Goldfield-Dows</h3> <p>Had a productive sophomore year, leading the team in scoring and rebounding while also blocking 45 shots and shooting 60% from the floor. It's that rim protection that lands him on this list. </p> <hr /> <h3 style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="962688" first="Dayton" last="Davis"] | SF | Fort Madison</h3> <p>Davis has a big frame, can score inside and out, and can be a versatile defensive option as well. He averaged 11.6 points a game as a sophomore while also showcasing some good hands on the defensive end.</p>
