They had a talented group of players from across the globe that were staples on Ballislife and other social media highlight outlets.
The Tigers went 26-2 and 13 of those games surpassed the 100 point mark. Their two lone losses came at the hands of two formidable opponents in Oak Hill, VA and St. Benedicts, NJ.
The job that Coach Dave Evans and company are doing out there in Mount Pleasant. Utah is unreal. Most of these players come into the school with some talent but the level of improvement that these kids strive for and reach is unreal.
With five seniors on their roster which have all signed to play with top notch Division 1 programs it easy easy to see that Wasatch Academy is a breeding ground for college coaches across the country to flock to to not only see who will be available now but who will be available in the years to come.
6’1 PG Mikey Saunders (University of Cincinnati)
If players want to see what a high motor point guard that plays on both ends looks like, look no further as Mikey can explode offensively with his array of moves. He can see the floor well and his change of speed and finishing ability is elite.
6’5 SG Richie Saunders Richie Saunders 6'5" | SG Wasatch Academy | 2020 State #145 Nation UT (Brigham Young University)
While most players are not home grown Richie is and he is a knockdown shooter. He came to Wasatch Academy as a good shooter and a player that can score and he turned into a multifaceted shooter that can create his own shot. Off the dribble, spot up or on the move Richie can knock it down with the best of them.
6’7 SF Leonardo Colimerio (Fresno State)
He’s an athletic player that get’s in the passing lanes. He can score at all three levels and handles the ball with ease. Leonardo is unselfish and always has his head up looking for open players. His improvement in the program has been impressive as he is always a threat to score all over the floor.
6’9 F Caleb Lohner Caleb Lohner 6'7" | SF Wasatch Academy | 2020 State #119 Nation UT (University of Utah)
A physical specimen that looks like he could play a role in a television series like Vikings or even as a Thor stunt double. Caleb is a high percentage shooter that battles for boards on both ends. He defends multiple positions and can jump out of the gym.
6’10 C Mady Sissoko Mady Sissoko 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2020 State #39 Nation UT (Michigan State)
The kid plays with intensity and anger as he wants to tear every rim apart. He rises and finishes above the rim and through contact. He has soft hands as he can catch the most difficult of passes. This kid has a chance to be special.
