<p>Prep Hoops has taken the time to run down our version of All-Area teams from around the Palmetto State. Prep Hoops is here to serve the entire state all year long. Lets checkout the All-Area Team from Orangeburg-Bamberg County.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="567816" first="I’rek" last="Hartwell"] (2020) - Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS (Neeses) </strong></p>
<p>Hartwell led the Trojans this season to the region championship. Hartwell a guard recently decided he will play at Morris College in Sumter, SC next season. Hartwell scored 1,249 points in his career. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="639938" first="James" last="Mingo"] (2020) - Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt) (Prep Hoops: Orangeburg-Bamberg County MVP) </strong></p>
<p>Mingo was a great addition to the Confederates roster this season after he transferred in from Barnwell HS. Mingo a very athletic wing player averaged just over 19 ppg, 6.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists this season. Mingo helped the Confederates get to the SCISA Class 1A State Championship Game. Mingo will need to entertain junior college options according to Head Coach Josh Barnes. The Confederates finished the season at (29-7) with 3 of those losses coming to Clarendon Hall. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="843638" first="Timothy" last="Junious"] (2020) - Orangeburg Prep Academy</strong> </p>
<p>Junious scored over 1,000 career points for the Indians in his career. Junious and the Indians lost to Hammond in the opening round of the SCISA 3A Playoffs 68-51. The Indians finished the season at (13-13). </p>
<p><strong>Franklin Winds (2020) - Edisto HS (Cordova) </strong></p>
<p>Winds is a just a great athlete on the floor for the Cougars. Winds also excels on the football field. Winds brings toughness to the floor every time he plays for Head Coach Herman Johnson. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840216" first="Literyian" last="Tyler"] (2021) - North HS (North)</strong></p>
<p>Tyler averaged 25 ppg and 9.9 rebounds this season for the Eagles. Tyler a left-handed wing player will enter his senior season with just over 1,200 career points. Tyler 6’5 really plays off the grid at one of the smallest schools in the Palmetto State. North HS has 150 students in the high school. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840270" first="Bradley" last="Washington"] (2021) - Bethune-Bowman HS (Rowesville)</strong></p>
<p>Washington helped the Mohawks get to the 3rd round of the SCHSL Playoffs before falling to Charleston Math & Science. Washington helped the Mohawks revenge a loss to Hemingway HS from the Lower State Championship back in 2019. The Mohawks defeated the Tigers in the 2nd round 60-58 behind 34 points from Washington. Washington is a rangy guard that doesn’t have much support around him. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="747011" first="Jabare" last="Perry"] (2021) - Calhoun County HS (St Matthews)</strong></p>
<p>Perry averaged 17.5 ppg and 7.7 rebounds this season for the Saints. Perry a athletic face-up forward really likes to play out on the perimeter. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="840251" first="Jacoby" last="Crosby"]</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840251" first="Jacoby" last="Crosby"] (2021) - Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS </strong></p>
<p>Crosby returned to the Red Raiders this past season after playing at Blackville-Hilda HS a sophomore. Crosby 6’3 left-handed guard has grown some over the past year. Crosby informed Prep Hoops he will run with the Carolina Shockers during the Grassroots season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="747009" first="Justin" last="Baxter"] (2021) - Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS</strong> </p>
<p>Baxter averaged 16.3 ppg and 16.6 rebounds this season for the Red Raiders. Baxter 6’7 left-handed forward works both sides of the block. Baxter likes to play face-up and can knockdown the elbow jumper from time to time. Baxter is a quick leaper in the paint. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650233" first="Jabari" last="Sumpter"] (2022) - Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill) </strong></p>
<p>Sumpter had a good season for the Raiders. The Raiders a SCISA Class 1A program play in the same with Andrew Jackson Academy and Clarendon Hall. Sumpter averaged 17.3 ppg and 10 rebounds this season for the Raiders. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="650205" first="Russell" last="BrunsonJr."]</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650205" first="Russell" last="Brunson Jr"] (2022) - Calhoun County HS (St Matthews)</strong></p>
<p>Brunson a left-handed guard averaged 22.1 ppg this season for the Saints and legendary Head Coach Zam Fredrick. Brunson really likes to get out in transition and push the tempo with his scorer’s mentality. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650231" first="Jordan" last="Simpson"] (2022) - Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS</strong></p>
<p>Simpson just a sophomore is the leader for the Bruins offense. Simpson has really picked up his game in the past year and it really shows on the floor. Simpson who’s dad is the girls basketball at Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS is really steady on the floor with his overall play. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976896" first="Mikey" last="Templeton"] (2022) - Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt) </strong></p>
<p>Templeton had a good season for the Confederates averaging 15.8 ppg and 10 rebounds. Templeton is a set shooter from behind the arc. </p>
