With the regular season ending and grassroots season shortened, recruiting becomes the top priority. As we look back on the season, Prep Hoops Wisconsin lists the players capable of being spot-up shooters on a college roster.

Andrew Rhode - Brookfield Central
In the 2018-19 season, Rhode came off the bench to light up defenses from beyond the arc. This season he blossomed into an even larger role, working his way into the starting lineup and hitting 42 out of 93 three-point attempts (45%).

[player_tooltip player_id="880981" first="Riley" last="Murphy"] - Seymour:
Murphy settled into a shoot-first role this year, launching 148 threes and connecting on 62 of them (42%). The senior recently committed to playing at UW Eau Claire, and though he will likely play off the ball to begin his career, he has shown flashes of being a primary ball-handler and off-the-dribble scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id="879986" first="Tanner" last="Resch"] - Sussex Hamilton
Resch put the Wisconsin basketball landscape on hold this offseason, putting up wild stat lines and emerging as a premier three-point threat. While his production was limited slightly this season, as he made just 37 threes on 115 attempts (32%), he still is one of the most lethal shooters in the 2021 class as he can isolate and shoot from well beyond the three-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id="935492" first="Kael" last="Stulo"] - Oak Creek
Stulo is a talented piece for Oak Creek, and this season, two-thirds of his production came from deep. Of his 96 made field goals, 69 were threes (40% on the season). He’s a bigger guard that is active cutting and running screens when off the ball, and while he’s a talented catch-and-shoot player, he’s able to isolate and hit contested shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="865851" first="Matt" last="Imig"] - Ashwaubenon
The sophomore hit 33 of 73 threes (45%) in his first 12 games this year. This season featured multiple high-volume games, and if he maintains that next season, he could field some early college looks.

[player_tooltip player_id="553385" first="Alex" last="Huibregtse"] - Grafton
The elite senior guard showed efficient production from deep this season, sinking 79 threes on 167 attempts (47%). He was one of the top three-point shooters in the state, displaying his ability to play the primary shooting role at the next level.

Will Dehn - Depere
The Depere gunner was automatic this season. He made 71 of his 152 attempts (47%), nearing the 50 percent mark on the year.

[player_tooltip player_id="879988" first="Preston" last="Ruedinger"] - Lourdes Academy
Statistically, Ruedinger was the top shooter in the state. He made 97 threes on 196 attempts (49%), finding production off the dribble with his crafty handles and a quick trigger.

[player_tooltip player_id="774476" first="Aidan" last="Clarey"] - Brookfield Academy
Clarey was a high-volume scorer, and a majority of his points came from beyond the arc, as he connected on 97 of 215 threes (45%) on the season. The guard can score in spurts throughout the game and is not hesitant to pull up from deep when left uncontested.
