All- Harnett County Area Hoopers!

<p><i>We’ve spoken a lot about Cumberland County basketball recently but Harnett County had some talent of its own as well. Over the next few days we will take a closer look at some of the standout performers from last season in Harnetr County</i>.</p> <p><b>Grace Christian Senior Guard Phil Martin Jr</b>: Originally playing with Southern Lee HS his first few years, his return to that Sanford area was somewhat of an homecoming for him even though it was just for one season. The Crusaders looked to him to provide some leadership as well as scoring throughout the year, averaging 17 Points a night. He can shoot the deep ball at a high level but has also proven himself as a playmaker.</p> <p><b>Lee County Senior G/F [player_tooltip player_id="833331" first="Jarrian" last="Hancock"]</b>: His versatility is one of the things that will catch your attention early on. At 6’5/6’6 he can play on the wing, make plays from the guard spot, or work inside the paint when needed. Averaging a double/double per night of 14 points and 10 rebounds, you can see how valuable he was to this group on a regular basis. Off the court he is an outstanding student which is another attribute that colleges should love.</p> <p><b>Southern Lee Senior Guard Savion Clay</b>: He doesn’t do a ton of things that will necessarily wow you, but he is a player that brings nice production overall. Scoring off the dribble as well as off the catch, he was a player that his team could depend on night in and night out. </p> <p><b>Overhills HS Senior Guard Jase Ford</b>: He was a huge part of the teams success due to the fact that he has a high offensive skillset. Scoring the ball at a high level and in various ways is not only something he does well on the high school level but also a skill that should translate to the next level. </p> <p><b>Cape Fear Christian Senior Jeremyah McWilliams</b>: In his only season at CFCA, he stepped in and gave the squad nice production on both ends of the floor. Finishing inside the paint offensively but more importantly rebounding and blocking shots on the defensive end of the floor at a high rate. </p>
