[player_tooltip player_id="609761" first="Conner" last="Calavan"] 2020 Fort Gibson Guard

Calavan is probably the best shooter in the state to not make it all the way to the state tournament. He led the Tigers through different big games in the playoffs leading them all the way to one game away from state. He can score the ball in all kinds of ways and plays hard on both sides of the ball. Calavan had size that a lot of guards do not have in Class 4A and he was able to body his guys down low to score easy buckets at the rim. Calavan’s run in the playoffs may have fell short but the Fort Gibson fans got to watch a couple of special performances including a 37 point performance in the regional finals.

Jaxon Blunt 2022 Fort Gibson Guard

Blunt is a shifty guard that finds ways to score the ball. He can spot up from the perimeter and knock down big shots from beyond the arc or he can take somebody on the dribble to the basket. Blunt played a big part of the scoring role with Fort Gibson this season and with Calavan graduating he will play a big part in the Tigers future. Blunt has a lot of potential and showed signs of big production this season with big outings.

Cayden Lee 2022 Stilwell Guard

Lee is a spot up shooter for Stilwell. When he finds his spot on the court in step he has a hard time missing. Lee showed an ability to attack the basket as well and finish at the rim. Lee’s biggest strength is from behind the arc though. He is a streaky shooter and once he finds his rhythm he is hard to stop. Lee still has a few years left and has the potential to develop his game to an even bigger level.

[player_tooltip player_id="745357" first="Anthony" last="Pritchard"] 2021 Tulsa Webster Guard

Pritchard is one of the best point guards in the 2021 class. He has guided a talented Tulsa Webster team since his freshman season and shows no fear. There is no moment that is too big for Pritchard as he thrives under pressure. Pritchard came out with some big performances to get his team to state after a shock loss in the Regional finals. His best performance was against Stilwell where he poured in 28 points to lead them back to the consolation finals.

Garrett Eaton 2020 Holland Hall Guard

Eaton is a pure shooter. When he is left open the shot is going to fall. Eaton shined in the biggest moments as he led Holland Hall to The Big House. He shot lights out in the area final game as he dropped a co-area high of 30 points. He could not miss from beyond the arc and with Holland Hall’s favorable draw in the state tournament if he shoots the way he has been they could be playing for the title on Saturday.

Isaiah Sanders Tulsa Webster Guard

Sanders could not miss from beyond the arc in the area consolation finals. He started fast and did not slow down. He scored the ball with ease and was able to find his open shots from beyond the arc. Sanders will play a big part if Webster wants to make a run at the title. They will have to beat some of the best teams in the state and Sanders will have to shoot the ball just as well in the big house to pull off these wins.

Ty O’Neal 2022 Hilldale Guard

O’neal was bright for a Hilldale team that showed a lot of potential this year. He had big moments and was able to score the ball at all three levels for the Hornets. O’neal was able to get to the rim over and over with the ability to score through contact at the basket. The Hornets felt like they got dealt the short end of the stick this season as their season ended on a controversial call and O’neal and the rest of the young team will return with a lot of experience.
