<p>Hard to believe the season is over. We saw a ton of talented players this year. In this article, we take a look at the top Las Vegas area players regardless of class. Note: <em>This list only includes Las Vegas area players playing in one of the four NIAA classes.</em></p>
<p><strong>POY:</strong> <em>MWani Wilkinson 6’6 SF Bishop Gorman (#3PHN 2020)</em> (featured image) - Easy choice. Wilkinson was a consistent stud every night out for the 4A State Champs.</p>
<p><em>1st Team:</em></p>
<p><strong>PG</strong>: <em>[player_tooltip player_id="533053" first="Zaon" last="Collins"] 6’0 Bishop Gorman 2021 (#2PHN 2021)</em> - Explosive, lighting quick PG. Gets anywhere he wants on the floor.</p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="797131" first="Donavan" last="Yap"] <em>6’3 Arbor View 2020 (#4PHN 2020)</em> - Was one of the top assist leaders in the state to go along with putting up over 21ppg. </p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="533052" first="Jaden" last="Hardy"] <em>6’5 Coronado 2021 (#1PHN 2021)</em> - His offensive skills are a level above everyone he plays. Electrifying scorer that had a 62 point game this season. </p>
<p><strong>PF:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="797129" first="Julian" last="Strawther"] <em>6’6 Liberty 2020 (#2PHN 2020)</em> - Gonzaga commit is a scoring machine that gets buckets at every level. </p>
<p><strong>P:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="856674" first="Kendrick" last="Gilbert"] <em>6’4 Durango 2020 (#15PHN 2020)</em> - Gritty competitor who found ways to score. Defended multiple positions at a high level.</p>
<p><em>2nd Team:</em></p>
<p><strong>PG:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="787641" first="Milos" last="Uzan"] 6’3 Desert Pines 2022 (#1PHN 2022)</em> - Handle and passing ability are off the charts. Bright future for this sophomore.</p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="533055" first="Will" last="McClendon"] 6’3 Bishop Gorman 2021 (#3PHN 2021)</em> - One of the most clutch players in the country. "Big Hands" makes big plays in big moments.</p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="799296" first="Glenn" last="Taylor"] 6’5 SF Cheyenne 2021 (#4PHN 2021)</em> - Versatile playmaker that makes his team better. Taylor helped the Desert Shields finish 2nd in the conference and reach the Mountain Region Semis.</p>
<p><strong>PF:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="533028" first="Braden" last="Lamar"] 6’5 SF Bishop Gorman 2020 (#9PHN 2020)</em> - It would be a huge slight to leave Lamar off. Played his role flawlessly all season. Scored gritty buckets and knocked down shots when the team needed it most.</p>
<p><strong>P:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="533057" first="Anthony" last="Swift"] 6’6 Desert Pines 2021 (#5PHN 2021)</em> - Rim protector and shot blocker. Swift put together a nice season for the Mountain Region Champs.</p>
<p><em>3rd Team</em></p>
<p><strong>PG:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="797132" first="Anthony" last="Hunter"] 5’11 Durango 2020 (#6PHN 2020)</em> - Terrific two-way player that helped the Trailblazers reach state.</p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="533062" first="Keshon" last="Gilbert"] 6’2 Durango 2020 (#6PHN 2021)</em> - Ballhandling Maestro that controls the tempo of the game as well as any player in the state. Trailblazers reached 20 wins this year behind Gilbert’s on-court leadership.</p>
<p><strong>W:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="799308" first="Ethan" last="Speaker"] 6’6 Boulder City 2021 (#7PHN 2021)</em> - State’s leading scorer carried 3A Boulder City to the State Semifinals.</p>
<p><strong>PF:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="787628" first="Jaxon" last="Kohler"] 6’9 Coronado</em> – Good rim protector with terrific offensive footwork. .</p>
<p><strong>P:</strong> <em>[player_tooltip player_id="856663" first="Jaylon" last="Lee"] 6’8 Arbor View 2020 (#12PHN 2020)</em> - One of the top rebounders in the state. Lee will be continuing his career at CSN next season.</p>
