“Mr. Region” Candidates – Class AA Tuesday Night Stars
Class AA
In an Elimination Night, responsible, dynamic players needed to appear and those that did largely advanced. There is no "Mr. Region" title, but this grouping of players deserve special recognition after sparkling Tuesday night performances.

Melique Hambrick (Tyner Academy) beat the buzzer and the Red Bank squad with a remarkable 24' banked three-pointer. It accounted for 3 of his 6 total points.
TyJuan Smith (Covington) scored 21 points.
Martez Logan (Covington) added 15.
Taki Walker (Fayette Ware) put up 28 points in the loss.

Johnathan Lawson (Wooddale) put up 26 points.
Brandon Alston (Covington) played wonderfully again: 18 points, 15 rebounds, 6 steals.
Wooddale will meet Covington Thursday evening.
Wooddale had balanced scoring tonight. Johnathan Lawson led the way with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Jalen Brown had 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

Santerrio Brown added 15. Kevin Brown provided 10.
Alcoa pounded Carter High, 66-34.
Nick Roberts (Alcoa) rattled off 19 points in a key win.
Ty Hurst (Carter) contributed 12 points in his final high school game.
In Ty's career, Carter High won 85 games!
Fulton knocked off Scott, 69-64. Scott won their first 16 games to start the season.
Dudda Lacy (Fulton) punched in 24 points with 8 assists, 4 steals, and 7 rebounds.
Fulton will play Alcoa Thursday. Fulton is attempting to play in their third consecutive AA State Championship Game.
