Two incredible blocks in the middle stages of the second quarter. Alston is a springy, lean yet muscular 6-foot-5 combo forwards. Bolivar Central runs out some exceptional guards and all of these guards like to get into the danger zones. Alston made their visits brief and full of rejection. In the final minute of the opening half, Alston hit the Tigers with a professional turnaround jumper. Remarkably smooth.

Monster on the glass. Despite giving up half of a foot to two of Covington's forwards, Wiley earned a half dozen offensive rebounds on the night.

MVP of the 2AAA. Maples was the biggest reason Sevier County High advanced to the 2019 State Tournament. Can he and his pals get all the way back? Monday night they took a sizable step in the right direction. Maples will play college somewhere next season. Perfect height for the position.
