New Faces in the 2021 Rankings

<p>The PrepHoops North Carolina rankings expanded to 150 players and even then, some new faces have found their way to the list. Here's a look at some notable names.</p> <h5>No. 53 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cedric-patterson/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cedric-patterson/">Cedric Patterson</a></a> - Point Guard - United Faith</h5> <p>The United Faith Christian Academy backcourt got a big boost this season from 6-foot-1 floor general <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cedric-patterson/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cedric-patterson/">Cedric Patterson</a></a>. Patterson has the ability to get to the rim and create for others with ease off the dribble. He'll be one to keep an eye on, especially this summer with Team United.</p> <h5>No. 62 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nasiar-blackston/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nasiar-blackston/">Nasiar Blackston</a></a> - Guard - Wilson Prep</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nasiar-blackston/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nasiar-blackston/">Nasiar Blackston</a></a> is an electric combo guard at 6-foot-4 with the ability to create havoc on the floor. He sets the tone on both ends by playing with relentless effort and making things happen when the ball touches his hands. He's a versatile option to keep eyes on at Wilson Prep.</p> <h5>No. 83 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/brodie-clark/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/brodie-clark/">Brodie Clark</a></a> - Guard - Scotland Christian</h5> <p>Scotland Christian has a hidden gem in 6-foot-1 guard <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/brodie-clark/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/brodie-clark/">Brodie Clark</a></a>.Clark is an aggressive guard that fills up the stat sheet this season, producing 26.7 points, 6.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game. He's put up 30 points or more in nine games this season while shooting 56 percent from the field. He holds an offer from St. Andrews University.</p> <h5><br /> No. 91 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tyler-gill/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tyler-gill/">Tyler Gill</a></a> - Trinity Academy - Point Guard</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tyler-gill/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tyler-gill/">Tyler Gill</a></a> has had quite the productive season in the Tri-TAC Conference with Trinity Academy as they've gone 23-4 on the year and undefeated in conference action. He's a shifty guard that can score on all three levels off the bounce and does well to get his teammates involved as well. He'll be a junior floor general to keep an eye on for teams in need of a point guard.</p> <h5>No. 92 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jacob-morgan/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jacob-morgan/">Jacob Morgan</a></a> -  Forward - Pine Lake Prep</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jacob-morgan/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jacob-morgan/">Jacob Morgan</a></a> finds himself in the Top 100 rankings after a productive junior season at Pine Lake Prep. The 6-foot-5 forward led the Pac 7 Conference in scoring (19.0 ppg) and snagged 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 53 percent from the field on the year. He'll be a prospect to keep an eye on with State Playoffs around the corner.</p> <h5>No. 117 <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/clay-hodges/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/clay-hodges/">Clay Hodges</a></a> - Point Guard - Lake Norman</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/clay-hodges/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/clay-hodges/">Clay Hodges</a></a> is a scrappy floor general that doesn't back down from anybody on the hardwood. He's got a knack for full-court pressure defense and controlling things on the offensive end. He's a young prospect that's worth some looks from college programs.</p>
