3 Things We Learned from Granville Central vs. Warren County (NCC Tournament)

<p>The Granville Central Panthers and Warren County Eagles faced off in the NCC Tournament Semifinals. Here's what we learned.</p> <h5><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/">Terence Harcum</a></a> Jr. is a stat-sheet stuffer</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/">Terence Harcum</a></a> Jr. was eerily close to a triple-double for the Panthers as he found himself in the midst of scoring, rebounding and dishing often to keep his team on pace for victory. Harcum put up 23 points, 11 in the third quarter, to show off his skill set as one of the top combo guards in the state. </p> <h5>Defense will carry the Panthers far</h5> <p>The Panthers used early defense to get things going early when they struggled. They trailed 7-2 before they locked in on the defensive end and went on a 16-0 run to close out the quarter with an 18-7 lead. After that, they kept forcing turnovers and watching the lead grow. They outscored Warren County 44-22 in the first half and got a 93-69 victory. </p> <h5>The role players are coming along strong</h5> <p><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/terence-harcum/">Terence Harcum</a></a> Jr. wasn't the only player with a big offensive game on Wednesday, either. Freshman guard <strong>K.J. Green </strong>finished with 19 points and <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jamari-mann/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jamari-mann/">Jamari Mann</a></a> finished with 13 points to balance things out for them offensively. Senior wing <strong>J.J. Tilley</strong> also finished with 10 points. They'll need those guys firing on all cylinders in the championship game against South Granville.</p>
