Bruce’s Best Post Season Awards: All Teammate Team

<p>And just like that, it’s playoff time. After a long year, 4A teams around Las Vegas prepare to play for their season's. It seems like only yesterday I was watching Liberty and Arbor View tip off the season. Throughout the year we have had some remarkable performances. While everyone wants to be the leading scorers, contributions come in all forms. Over the next few days, I will be selecting my All- PH Team's, celebrating valuable skills that go into making a successful squad. In this article, we take a look at the PrepHoopsNevada All Teammate Team, celebrating the players whose unselfishness raises the play of the players around them.</p> <p><strong><em>1st Team</em> </strong></p> <p>PG: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/faizon-woods/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/faizon-woods/">Faizon Woods</a></a> 6'0 Legacy - Defends, sets up teammates, or takes the big shot. Woods doesn't care what has to be done, he's willing to do it to help his team win.</p> <p>W: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/glenn-taylor/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/glenn-taylor/">Glenn Taylor</a></a> 6'5 SF Cheyenne 2021 - His "playoff mode" is a real thing. An unassuming superstar whose poise disguises his passion for winning. Routinely stuffs the stat sheet for his team. Ultimate competitor who is at his best when his best is needed.</p> <p>W: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/ray-daniels/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/ray-daniels/">Ray Daniels</a></a> 6'6 SF Somerset Losee 2020 <em>(featured image)</em> - Daniels could easily take every shot for his team, and he would be justified for doing so. Instead, he picks his spots, while setting up his teammates.</p> <p>PF: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/kendrick-gilbert/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/kendrick-gilbert/">Kendrick Gilbert</a></a> 6'5 PF Durango 2020 - Never needs a play run for him. Gilbert can give you a "quiet" 20 while shutting down the opposing team's best player.</p> <p>P: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/rameses-nabong/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/rameses-nabong/">Rameses Nabong</a></a> 6'5 Foothill 2020 - Nabong makes the team partly because of his willingness to sacrifice minutes for the good of the squad. High-level rebounder and defender that doesn't need to score to make an impact.</p> <p><strong><em>2nd Team</em> </strong></p> <p>PG: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/mason-whittaker/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/mason-whittaker/">Mason Whittaker</a></a> 6'5 Spanish Springs 2020 - What do you need? Scoring, rebounding, assist. Whittaker can do it all. His ability to lead the Cougars has them poised for a deep playoff run.</p> <p>W: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jason-simms/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jason-simms/">Jason Simms</a></a> 6'2 Faith Lutheran 2021 - Perhaps the best compliment that can be given to Simms is that when the Crusaders need a bucket, they call his number. </p> <p>W: <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/davyon-rowe/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/davyon-rowe/">Davyon Rowe</a></a> 6'0 Basic 2021 - Doesn't care what needs to be done, he's willing to do it for the good of the team. He'll rebound, defend and set screens for teammates.</p> <p>PF: Mike Martin 6'2 Spring Valley 2020 - Perhaps the toughest player pound for pound in the state. PG size with a heart of a 7 footer.</p> <p>P: Reagan Blanner 6'5 Centennial 2021 - Blanner makes the list because of his willingness to throw his body into opponents.
