Prep Hoops Wisconsin Player of the Week Candidates: 1.19 — 1.26

This week, Buchanan took his play to another level. The point guard scored a career-high 36 points in a win over De Pere on Saturday.</div> <div> </div> <div>As the Papermakers prepare for a possible run to the Kohl Center, the Kimberly PG will need to continue to play outstanding basketball. </div> <div> </div> <div> <div class="player"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cameron-palesse/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cameron-palesse/">Cameron Palesse</a></a> 6'3" / SG Waukesha West</strong></div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Cam Palesse is back. After being forced to miss a handful of games due to mono, it looks like the SG has returned to his regular form. In two games this week, Palesse went for 58 total points in Waukesha West victories, including a season-best 30 point game on Tuesday.</div> <div> </div> <div> <div class="player"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/drew-biber/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/drew-biber/">Drew Biber</a></a> 6'5” / SF Cedarburg</strong></div> </div> <div> </div> <div>One of the best performances of the week belongs to <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/drew-biber/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/drew-biber/">Drew Biber</a></a>. In Cedarburg's close loss to Grafton on Friday night, Biber scored 33 points on 8-19 shooting. The forward really impressed me with his ability to score. Biber was making shots from beyond the three-point arc, the mid-range, and at the rim. </div> <div> </div> <div> <div class="player"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/dalton-banks/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/dalton-banks/">Dalton Banks</a></a> 6'1" / PG Eau Claire North</strong></div> </div> <div> </div> <div><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/dalton-banks/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/dalton-banks/">Dalton Banks</a></a> has proven time and time again how good of a basketball player he is. This week, Banks showed that he excels in many different facets of the game. In an overtime loss to Chippewa Falls, the Eau Claire North point guard put up 38 points, eight rebounds, nine steals, and five assists. </div> <div> </div> <div><strong>Honorable Mentions:</strong></div> <div> </div> <div> <div class="player"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cole-booth/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/cole-booth/">Cole Booth</a></a> 6'1" / G Plymouth</strong></div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Booth tallied a triple-double (30 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists.) for Plymouth in a victory over Winneconne. Booth's special game was made a lot sweeter by the fact that he also became Plymouth's all-time leading scorer in the win. </div> <div> </div> <div> <div class="player"><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jordan-majeed/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jordan-majeed/">Jordan Majeed</a></a> 5'11" / PG Beloit Turner</strong></div> </div> <div> </div> <div><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jordan-majeed/"><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jordan-majeed/">Jordan Majeed</a></a> isn't a big name, but he is capable of doing some big-time stuff on the basketball court.
