Nebraska’s Midseason Stock Risers

<p style="text-align: left;">There have been multiple players throughout the state of Nebraska that have proved they deserve to make a jump in their respective rankings. </p> <p>Here are a few of the players that I thought have increased their stock so far this season:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Joey Skoff</span> - Bellevue East </strong></p> <p>The 6'2 senior is making a case that he is one of the best scorers in the state, as he leads Class A in scoring and has three 30 point games including a 42 point performance back in December.   </p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Saint Thomas</span> - Millard North</strong></p> <p>On a team that features multiple Division 1 prospects, forward Saint Thomas doesn't get the recognition he deserves. The 6'6 forward is still a junior and I believe he has an incredibly high ceiling. </p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Louis Fidler</span> - Bellevue West</strong></p> <p>Fidler has made a huge leap from last year and played a huge part in the Thunderbirds win over the number one team in the state, Lincoln Pius, on Thursday night. (23 points)</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Skyler Wilson</span> - Omaha South</strong></p> <p>A great two-way guard that compliments Omaha South's athletic scheme. Knocks down triples at an efficient rate and is great at getting his hands on the ball and jumping passing lanes on the defensive end.</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">PJ Ngambi</span> - Omaha Westside</strong></p> <p>The lefty guard has a high basketball IQ and is one of the best passers I have seen so far this year. Extremely tough to guard off the dribble and has a superb 3.0 assist to turnover ratio.</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Trey Scheef</span> - Wahoo</strong></p> <p>After stepping into a larger role from last season, Scheef has led the Warriors to an 11-1 start. Kid lights it up from outside the 3-point line and rebounds very well for a 6'1 guard.</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Danair Demspey </span></strong><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #000000;">- Papillion-LaVista South</span></span></strong></p> <p>Dempsey has been one of the most impactful transfers we have seen so far this season. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, the 6'6 forward is a great finisher around the rim and can step outside and hit shots occasionally. His long frame helps him excel on the defensive end as one of the best shot blockers in the state.</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Tredyn Prososki <span style="color: #000000;">- Riverside</span></span></strong></p> <p>Prososki may very well be one of the best shooters in the state, and has one of the quickest releases I have seen. Plays 110% every time he is on the court and one of the most under-rated point guards in Nebraska.</p> <p><strong>Honorable Mention: </strong>Trevor Albert (Millard South), Joey Hylok (Papillion-LaVista), Kwat Abdelkarim (North Star), Carter Glenn (Lincoln East), Jared Bohrer (Lincoln Southwest)</p>
