5 Intriguing Prospects: William Chrisman vs Nevada

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri got a chance to take a look at William Chrisman vs Nevada in the semifinals of the Kaminsky Classic in Joplin. Nevada bolted out to a 12 point lead in the first half, but William Chrisman was able to track them down in the third quarter. The lead changed hands throughout the fourth quarter, but in the end, it was William Chrisman taking a 62-57 victory to hand the Tigers their first loss of the season.</p> <p>Here is a look at five intriguing prospects from Friday night’s contest:</p> <p><strong>Dalton Gayman 6’6” Nevada</strong></p> <p>The 2020 lefty was a dominant force in the paint with a career high 33 points and 12 rebounds. He got things going early with 14 points in the first quarter and 20 by halftime. He made several nice catches in traffic and got buckets from all kinds of angles because he uses the backboard very well. He is also a capable ball handler and passer. He has already signed with Arkansas-Fort Smith</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Zachariah Rowe 5’11” William Chrisman </strong></p> <p>The thin, wiry 2020 guard scored a game high 19 points to lead the Bears to victory. He was a tough cover all night because he excelled in the open court with his speed, yet he had the craftiness to work his body through tight spaces to get buckets. The lefty also knocked down a couple of 3-pointers in key situations.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Isaiah Jackson 6’3 William Chrisman </strong></p> <p>The 2020 wing scored 15 points while showing why he is one of the best slashing threats in the KC area. Whether he was in the open court in transition or facing a zone defense in the half court, he was able to weave his way through traffic to get easy buckets at the rim. He is also an excellent defender who helped the Bears turn around a double digit deficit with ball-hawking pressure.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Logan Applegate 6’1 Nevada</strong></p> <p>A talented 2021 point guard who plays the game with a little flair about him. He loves to pass the ball and he will deliver dimes from anywhere on the court. He had a nice behind the back pass to Gayman which resulted in a dunk. His shooting range also extends well beyond the 3-point line.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Marcus Wigfall 6’1 William Chrisman </strong></p> <p>Another impressive 2020 guard who also enjoyed a lot of success getting buckets off the bounce. He also scored 15 points with many of those coming on drives to the basket for easy layups.</p>
