Early in the game, he looked to shoot, particularly from the corner three, but struggled to cash out. He eventually got going but had to get a mix of inside and outside shots. His handles are smooth. He has a variety of combo moves that help him respond to defenses better. He played aggressive defense and came up with a huge steal in the fourth quarter to give the Huskies their first lead since early in the game. Late in the game, he should have demanded the ball and made a play. Big time players need to shine brightest when the game is on the line.

Colin Glover, Hewitt: Just like his twin brother, Colin demanded the attention of the Patriot defense. The very first possession he stepped into a routine three and it just felt like he was going to have a big night. Unfortunately was held at bay most the game. In the fourth quarter, he sparked a big momentum swing with a "James Harden-like" euro step finishing strong with the left hand. Although not his greatest night, expect him to continue to play well as teams enter area play.

PJ Davis, Homewood: PJ was everything for the Patriots tonight. His first bucket was an elite level spin move in the paint finishing well with his right hand. He was definitely the most athletic player on the court tonight. At a fault, he seems to rely on his athleticism a little too much. He seemed to do the best when he isolated from the top of the key at roughly 25 feet. From then, he would get a head of steam and attack the basket often out-jumping the defender or spinning past them. This worked tonight and was effective, but against a better defensive gameplan, they will sag off of him and dare him to shoot.

Bo Barber, Homewood: Bo Barber is a player that every team needs. Although smaller, he was all over the court. He showed glimpses of vintage Rajon Rondo, from the Boston Celtics. He has quick hands on defense. He passes the ball extremely well, whether right hand or left hand, no-look, underhand, bounce passes, etc. He really seemed to see the floor well. He was a vocal leader from the point guard position. The best point guards can settle down a frantic offense and get a team into their sets. Late in the game, he was the player the Patriots' wanted the ball in his hands. He went 5-6 from the line in the final minutes helping seal the game.

Len Irvine, Homewood: Len was the spark plug when things were stagnant mid-game for the Patriots. At the end of the first quarter, he hit a fall away three from the corner as time expired. During the second quarter, he had a 1 on 1 fast break and gracefully euro-stepped the defender and finished strong with his left hand. Players that can make big plays always help spark the necessary momentum.
