Primetime Players

This holiday break we were able to see a lot of players perform at a high level. With the increase amount of games it was apparent which players stood out. Some of these players had great performances out of state as well. 6'4 SG Jake Howe (Woods Cross High School) Jake and his teammates travel to a warmer San Diego California to The Surf N' Turf Classic. Jake took advantage of the warm weather and had a ht start as he opened up play with a 29 point performance. He was consistent on both ends as he started to get some college looks out there as well. Jake helped his team finish 3-1 and a 2nd Place finish in the to bracket. 6'6 Kase Peterson (Herriman High School) Kase is starting to hit his stride. The big fella is capable of 20 and 10 nights almost every game. If he can maintain that energy Herriman is going to be dangerous come playoff time. 6'6 Isaac Vaha (Pleasant Grove High School) The strong junior is growing up on the court. He is starting to find his nitch and scoring in double figures every game. He already holds many Division 1 football offers and the basketball ones will come shortly. 6'6 Nate Berg (Hillcrest High School) Nate is starting to get going as he played more consistent at The Riverton Holiday Tournament. He is going to be the difference maker if Hillcrest will have success this year. Nate can stretch the floor with his shooting. 6'2 PG AJ Owen Jr. (Intermountain Christian High School) AJ is a bigger guard that is strong and is able to post up guards with his physicality. He sees the floor well and improves as the floor general every game. He is still raw but could put up some good numbers as he is one of the top assist guys in the state. He is also starting to find his offensive game. 6'7 Dyson Koehler (Jordan High School) Dyson is doing what he did last year and that is everything. He scores the ball and attacks the glass on both ends. He is a double-double machine. Looking forward to seeing what he does in region play.
