Here, we take a look at the players ranked 11 through 15 in the Class of 2020 in Prep Hoops’ latest update.

11 Cougar Downing, 6’2, G, 2020, Olathe West, KC Pacers
Downing has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create and can score in a variety of ways both inside and out. He moves well through contact and is a strong and aggressive player on both sides of the ball.
Why the ranking?
An unranked player a season ago, the KC Pacer summer standout has been drawing interest in the offseason and moving up the ladder with his creativity and ball handling skills. He has a high IQ and is a threat on both sides of the ball.
12 Spencer Bain, 6’2, G, 2020, Blue Valley West, MoKan Elite
Bain has the ability to get around opponents and can get inside the paint and finish plays. He sees time as a scoring option and a point, one who has a high intelligence for the game.
Why the ranking?
One of the top breakout performers of the summer, Bain had a productive season with MoKan Elite and proved himself to be one of the most lethal sharpshooters in the state. He’s a calm and seasoned player who has the tools and techniques to make an immediate impact.
13 Omar Stanley, 6’8, PF, 2020, Blue Valley West, MoKan Select
A standout since his freshman year, Stanley is a physical player who can jam the ball down his opponents throats and protect the basket at a high level with his size, strength and overall length.
Why the ranking?
Stanley continues to showcase his terrific finishing ability around the basket. He can dominate the boards and his size and build make him a huge threat on both sides of the floor.
14 Trey Reid, 6’2, G, Maize South , NLHA @TreyReid23
Reid is a smart, pass-first lead guard who has terric handles, solid speed and is good at getting inside and scoring using floaters, jumpers.
Why the ranking?
Leading the way for NLHA, Reid showed terrific improvement over the summer on both sides of the floor. He is an impressive two-way standout who can shut down guards as a defender and get to the basket and finish plays off balance.
15 Tanner Mans, 6’5, G/F, Bishop Carroll
A talented athlete who can knock down shots and lock opponents down as a defender and get inside and make plays around the basket. When he’s dialed in his game goes up a notch. He has terrific vision and expects his teammates to play hard and anticipate their opponents moves.
Why the ranking?
Mans is one of the top wing prospects in the area, and proved to be one of the most reliable and productive two-way threats for Pray N Play. He’s an intelligent player and also showcased his ability to create opportunities using his handles, off ball play and athleticism.
