Game Previews: Top 3 Games Of The Week

<p>Every week we will take a look at some of the top games, and highlight the key players. This week we highlight our top 3 games of opening week. </p> <p><strong>1) Liberty at Arbor View </strong> - Two of the top players in the C/O 2020 go head to head in this game. Liberty is led by Gonzaga commit <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/julian-strawther/">Julian Strawther</a>. The 6'6 scorer leads a deep and talented team. Liberty may be perhaps the most complete team in the state. They feature a clear go-to player in Strawther, two terrific PG's in <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/dante-davis/">Dante Davis</a> and <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/lorenzo-abellar/">Lorenzo Abellar</a>, and perhaps the best 1 on 1 post player in the state in rising Sophomore <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/joshua-jefferson/">Joshua Jefferson</a>. They also have outside shooting in the form of <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/kobe-stroughter/">Kobe Stroughter</a>. Arbor View has their own stud in future Rebel <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/donavan-yap/">Donavan Yap</a>. They are a deep and experienced, senior-led squad that features several contributors. <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/larry-holmes/">Larry Holmes</a> is one of the top two way players in the state. David Moore is a versatile defender and the heart and soul of the team.</p> <p><strong>2) Canyon Springs at Durango</strong> - Perhaps the most entertaining game of the week. This game probably could double as a track meet, as both programs rely on tempo and pressure defense. Canyon will be lead by their big 3 of <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jhadon-banks/">Jhadon Banks</a>, <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/zarius-benson-moore/">Zarius Benson-Moore</a> and <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/alexander-spaight/">Alexander Spaight</a>. Durango will counter with a big 3 of their own featuring the dynamic backcourt of <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/anthony-hunter/">Anthony Hunter</a> and Rebel commit <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/keshon-gilbert/">Keshon Gilbert</a>. As well as the versatile <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/kendrick-gilbert/">Kendrick Gilbert</a>.  </p> <p><strong>3) Faith Lutheran at Spring Valley</strong> - One of the more intriguing games of the week. These teams are built similarly. Both rely on strong powerful guards. <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/amari-james/">Amari James</a> for Spring Valley, and <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/azavier-jonhson/">Azavier Johnson</a> for Faith. The production for the other starters may decide the outcome. Faith has the sharpshooting <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/nicholas-attanasio/">Nicholas Attanasio</a>, <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jackson-williams/">Jackson Williams</a> a lockdown defender, and Jason Sims a heady PG. Spring Valley will counter with the toughness of Michael Martin, and Frank Bartley, and the dynamic play of <a href="https://prephoops.com/player/james-wesbster/">James Webster</a>. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
