Morgan Wootten Tip-Off Morning/Afternoon Standouts

<p><em>ARLINGTON, VA</em> -- We are halfway through the Fifth Annual Morgan Wootten Tip-Off and now its time to take a look at what we've learned so far. Here we recap the first part of the showcase by highlighting five standouts.</p> <h5>JADEN HOUSE | 6'4 G | MIDDLEBURG '21</h5> <p></p> <p>One good word to describe House would be "dog". He has a sturdily built frame and has the ability to score at will. House pumped in 25 of his game-high 28 points in the second half for Middleburg in their win over Lanham Christian. The next area of improvement for his game will be focusing on his defense and learning how to consistently make guys around him better.</p> <h5>STEFAN MARCELLE | 6'7 F | GEORGETOWN PREP '22 </h5> <p></p> <p>Marcelle had some nice moments during their comeback win for Georgetown Prep over New Hope. He is a forceful paint presence who works extremely hard at all times while on the court. Marcelle is good at using his length to challenge shots at the rim and rebound. He runs the floor with purpose, has strong hands, and can finish through contact. Marcelle will only improve as he fills out into his frame.</p> <h5>CAVAN REILLY | 6'3 G | MIDDLEBURG '22</h5> <p></p> <p>Reilly finds many ways to impact the game. He's a good rebounding guard who is active defensively. On the offensive end, Reilly is a competent scorer from all three levels who can get it going in a hurry. One thing that stood out was how well he moves without the ball. Reilly knows where the holes in the defense lie and how to exploit them.</p> <h5>ZAAKIR WILLIAMSON | 6'6 F | ROCK CREEK '21</h5> <p></p> <p>It did not take long for Williamson to make his mark during Rock Creek's blowout win over Severn. He was the most vocal on the floor from opening tip through the final whistle. Williamson's versatility was evident on both ends of the floor. He scored from all over the court, protected the paint, and showed that he's capable of initiating the fast break.</p> <h5>BEN WOODWARD | 6'4 G | GEORGETOWN PREP '23</h5> <p></p> <p>The first thing that stood out about Woodward's performance today was how hard he plays. He rebounds the ball well and is a smart defender. Woodward is a confident shooter with a quick release and prototypical size at 6-foot-4. He moves well without the ball and demonstrates good court vision. </p>
