Here is a list of 6 seniors guards that are still available. These 6 prospects have had a tremendous start to their senior campaign and could be very valuable prospects at the next level.

Jordan Ivy-Curry 6’1 PG | LaMarque HS PHTX200 as seen in the picture

Jordan is having a really big Senior season. He is averaging 38.5 points per game and has helped lead his team to a number 10 ranking in the state as they sit at 18-6 overall in the UIL 4A classification. He was also dominant on the Prep Hoops Circuit last season with the Houston Raptors. He is super quick and gets where he wants when he wants to on the court. Scores the ball really well on all three levels. He is a good on-ball defender as well. He currently holds three JuCo offers from Murray State College in Oklahoma, Holmes College in Mississippi, and Angelina College in Texas. He also holds an NAIA offer from Bethel College in Kansas. The University of Houston is also interested in this prospect as he took an Official Visit early in December.

Justin Hill 6’0 PG | Fort Bend Travis HS PHTX200

Justin is a strong lead guard that has a really high IQ which he showcased during the Summer Season on the UAA Circuit with Houston Defenders. Justin is averaging 25 points per game and dishing out 5 assists per game as well. Downhill point that looks to create but is a scoring guard as well. He has a great real wade point on his jumper. He has helped lead his team to a 16-4 record overall so far this season. He currently holds a JuCo offer from Panola College in Texas and has a lot of NCAA D1 interest right now but no one has pulled the trigger yet.

Braelon Bush 5’7 PG | Silsbee HS PHTX200

Braelon played on the Nike EYBL Circuit and was the shortest prospect on the 17U level. He has a deep range I’m talking NBA range that he hits at a high rate. He is a super quick guard and gets a lot of quality paint touches. He is very crafty around the rim as well and is bouncy. Silsbee is a ranked UIL 4A school despite there rough season they are having, they are 7-10 overall on the season. He carries the load for his team and averages 38.9 points per game. He has interest from several NCAA D1 schools.

Kellen Amos 6’4 SG | St. John XXIII Preparatory

Kellen is a solid off-ball guard and can also handle the ball as well as a play initiator bringing the ball up the floor. He moves great without the ball in his hands and can create for himself with the ball. He is averaging 23 points per game on the year so far. His school is a TAPPS 6A school and has helped push his team to a 6-8 overall record on the season so far. He currently doesn’t have any offers on the table right now but would be a solid prospect for the NCAA D2 / NAIA / JuCo-D1 level. Could help out a team at the next level right away.

Bakari LaStrap 5’11 PG | The Woodlands Christian Academy PHTX200

Bakari has been battling some minor injuries and missed a couple of games on the season. He has been playing really solid and the last 5 games of the schedule he has been playing super solid. He is a scoring point guard with decent floor awareness. Bouncy guard that plays with a great motor. He played summer ball on the UAA Circuit with Houston Defenders. He currently has no offers on the table but has a couple of JuCo programs interested in him right now. He has helped to lead his team to a 17-7 record and they are ranked number 1 in the state according to TABC for 4A Private Schools.

Daylan Hamilton 6’3 SG | Klein Forest HS PHTX200

Daylan is having a big senior season. He is averaging 28.5 points per game. He is a tough assignment when going downhill. Very bouncy guard that plays with a super high motor. Crafty finisher around the rim and is solid when shooting off the dribble. His perimeter play continues to improve as he is more of a streaky shooter from deep than a high volume shooter. He has a solid body build with a good wingspan and is very strong for his position and size. He currently doesn’t hold any offers but is an NCAA D1 Mid - Low/Major prospect and would be great on the NCAA D2 level as well. Klein Forest is 8-6 on the season this year.

For more information on these prospects as in their strengths, weakness, and grades please contact me @GDayHoopScout on twitter and direct message me.
