Derrick Hardin (2020) | 6-1 WG | Worthington Christian
The senior had about the best summer possible, really working on his on-ball play and showing he can score it at multiple levels. Hardin has really improved as a shooter and is one of the best in the area at letting it fly. Hardin can fill it up very quickly, perfect for a team that likes to go fast. Has improved his physicality, rebounding and handling of the ball. Will be one half of a very talented Warriors backcourt this winter. Coaches should be checking in on this one.
Jaden Woods (2020) | 6-4 WF | Newark
Simply an athlete that destroys teams inside. I’ve watched Woods on both the hardwood and the gridiron, he can go on both and his strength helps his case on both. Best off the ball, getting open looks at the rim and put back chances. Must compliment his motor that he plays with, crashing the boards on both ends. Good cutting ability for his size, capable of hitting the turnaround jumper as well. Comes from a good, well coached program.
Jake Warriner (2020) | 6-3 W | New Albany
The senior has transferred back to New Albany where he played prior to his junior season and should be an immediate impact for them. Versatile three can do whatever a team needs him to do. Tough buckets inside or step out and stretch the floor. This season Warriner will likely take a primary scoring load he’s fit for. A player that could be really good at the Division Ill level.
Kalil Camara (2020) | 6-2 WG | Westland
Maybe the most athletic player left in Central Ohio, Camara brings an unreal vertical to the game that has him as a highlight waiting to happen on both ends. Doing most of his damage at the rim, the senior is improving his jumper. Will play the two at the college level and expects to have a big senior season with Westland.
Mitch Myers (2020) | 6-2 W | Marion Harding
Myers projects to play the three in college, but normally plays bigger than that at the high school level. Brings a football build to the hardwood, and often can outmuscle bigger defenders. Spot up shooter from deep, best off the catch and shoot, especially the corner. The senior has a decent face up game, attacks off the dribble and strong arms tough shots inside. Area D3’s should be in on the 2020 wing.
