2019-20 Season: 2022s On the Rise 

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The changeover from freshman to sophomore year typically entails the refining of first-year flashes. Aside from being generally ahead of the curb in that respect, these six prospects will make a substantial leap ahead of their sophomore season.</span></p> <p><strong>Ashton Janowski - G - Pewaukee</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Janowski helms Pewaukee’s quartet of ranked sophomores. The guard delivers across the board, always one step ahead as a facilitator while consistently delivering as a shooter. This year he’ll likely assume the reins of Pewaukee’s offense. If he’s given a long enough leash to create, he could lay the foundation for one of Wisconsin’s top offenses. </span></p> <p><strong>Mack Sebert - F - Fon Du Lac</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sebert shot up in the newest rankings update, compensating for his late edition as a ranked class members. The 6’5” forward boasts a malleable skillset, especially for a sophomore, as he's able to sink catch-and-shoot threes and dominate the paint with adeptness and patience. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fond Du Lac was the FVA’s resident cellar-dweller last season, but next year could mark a program one-eighty with Sebert scraping together some hope on the roster.</span></p> <p><strong>Carter Thomas - F - Neenah</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Thomas thrived as a complementary piece this summer, though his frame and bullish driving game speaks to a larger role. With Neenah’s core reshuffling completely, he could squeak into their core-six nucleus as a scoring piece of the bench.</span></p> <p><strong>Seth Trimble - G - Menomonee Falls</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Trimble’s career arc is actively trending vertically, hand-in-hand with his athleticism. The guard is electric off the bounce, as explosive and bouncy of a prospect at the guard spot as you’ll find in the state. Playing with Phenom University on the summer circuit and Menomonee Falls during the school season, Trimble boasts a year-round opportunity to break out into stardom.</span></p> <p><strong>Danilo Jovanovich - F - Whitnall</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Not many match uber-confidence with consistent results like Jovanovich. The forward’s straight-line driving and knack for finding the cup combined to make him arguably the most dominant offensive talent in the class. His most recent scamper up the rankings is the first of many. </span></p> <p><strong>Nathan Gapinski - F - Watertown</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Being this young and sprouting to 6’6” usually demands cat-like coordination. Gapinski has that, and he pairs it with a capable jumper and peak athleticism. This year the budding forward will debut on varsity, entering the season as a breakout candidate.</span></p>
