Jaylin Richardson, 6’3, G, 2020, Schlagle
A physical and aggressive player who can handle the ball and make plays. He has a muscular frame and gets to the basket and finishes in traffic and through contact. Richardson can find his stroke from a distance. A strong two-way player who makes an impact on both sides of the floor.
Lonell Lane, 6’0, PG, 2021, JC Harmon
An explosive athlete with terrific speed and overall strength. Lane continues to show why he’s one of the most entertaining and athletic players in the state.He looks to fight for the ball and get inside and make plays around the rim. He finishes in traffic well and can handle the ball well and make strong decisions as a scoring and distributing guard.
Walzel Evans, 5’11, G, 2020, Wyandotte
Evans is a strong player who looks good in transition and can get to the basket and finish. He can connect from 3-point range and shows a toughness and an ability to showcase his physicality when it matters. He stays strong on defense and can poke the ball away and keep opponents thinking about protecting the ball.
Alton Easley, 6’0, G, 2020, Washington
Easley was a first-team all-conference performer last season and it was no fluke. He has good size and looks bigger in person than meets the eye. He is a good ball handler and one who can put his head down and get to the basket and score. Easely is also a solid rebounder and defensive player as well.
Mike Carson, 6’3, PF, 2021, JC Harmon
A strong, physical presence inside who plays strong inside and out. He has the ability to score under pressure and he moves quickly and gets to the basket and scores. He is a solid rim protector and looks to rebound and get inside and making plays. He can also step back for a deep 3-pointer and connect.
