<p>Recruiters Cheat Sheet better known as RCS Sports held their annual high school varsity fall basketball event called the Super 16 Extravaganza. Some of the top high school teams from the Greater Houston region are invited to play in this 24 team event. Here is my standouts from Day 1 of the event. </p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Cam Amboree</span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’1 PG • 2022 • Sam Houston HS</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cam is a speedy and shifty guard who can shoot it from deep. He knocked down three trey balls that was from the NBA range. He was able to get his teammates clean looks. Finished with 15 points in the opening game of the day. </span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/elijah-elliot/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">Elijah Elliot</span></a> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’0 PG • 2020 • St. Thomas Catholic</span> <a href="https://prephoops.com/texas/rankings/2020-rankings/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">PH</span><span style="color: #ff9900;">TX</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">150</span></a></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He was breaking down his opponent and even made one fall. Created for himself and his teammates. Knocked down some tightly contested shots and was able to get a lot of paint touches. He finished with 17 points in the game and 5 assists. </span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chris-felix/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">Chris Felix</span></a> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’3 G • 2021 • Westbury Christian HS</span> <a href="https://prephoops.com/texas/rankings/2021-rankings/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">PH</span><span style="color: #ff9900;">TX</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">75</span></a></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knocked down some tough mid-range jumpers. He was feeling it as he even shimmed after cooking an opponent. Solid combo dribble moves to create for himself. Does a really good job of reading what the defender is giving him and takes it.</span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/antwon-norman/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">Antwon Norman</span></a> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’0 G • 2020 • Jack Yates HS</span> <a href="https://prephoops.com/texas/rankings/2020-rankings/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">PH</span><span style="color: #ff9900;">TX</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">150</span></a></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Plays with a high motor and was looking to pick up right were he left off last school year. He was able to get to the rim and also knocked down some tough mid-range jumpers. Was pesky on the defensive side of the ball and created havoc by forcing multiple turnovers. </span></p>
<p> </p>
<p><strong><a href="https://prephoops.com/player/tramon-mark/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">Tramon Mark</span></a> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">6’6 SG • 2020 • Dickinson HS [<span style="color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;">Houston</span>]</span> <a href="https://prephoops.com/texas/rankings/2020-rankings/"><span style="color: #ff6600;">PH</span><span style="color: #ff9900;">TX</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">150</span></a></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He showed just how much the EYBL has improved his game compared to last season. He controlled every aspect of the game and did what he wanted to do. Scored on all levels at a high rate. Played with a ton of energy. Great body control while in the air after contact. Showed why he is a D1 player. </span></p>
