Columbia College Elite Camp: Class of 2020 Forwards

<p>Prep Hoops Missouri was in Mid-Missouri on Sunday to take in the action at the Columbia College Elite Camp. The event was highlighted by a nice group of bigs. Here is a look at the top Class of 2020 forwards at the camp. </p> <p>Eric Northweather 6'8" Blair Oaks: The versatile post was the top prospect in the camp in my opinion. He did a little bit of everything and made things look easy throughout the day. He was stepping out and knocking down 3-pointers off the catch while getting buckets in the low post and off the offensive boards. He also showcased his ball handling and passing ability in the open court. Very impressive player.</p> <p>Evan Schneider 6'6" Ladue: The bullish power forward put in another solid day's work in the low post as he used his physical strength and mobility to his advantage. He has good footwork and a very effective jump hook when he catches it down low. He also has some power to go along with his finesse game as he jumped up and dunked a few in traffic.</p> <p>Jacob Ungles 6'5" Rock Bridge: The versatile combo forward who was solid at both ends of the court. He was knocking down 3-pointers and showing some good pick-and-pop ability. He has solid rebounding and passing skills and a very unselfish style of play that fits in with others.</p> <p>Isaiah Esker 6'9" Parkway South: The solid post player has been getting his work in at these various elite camps around the state. I like how he has taken stock in his size and is using it with confidence, especially when it comes to being more physical around the basket. He can take it, but he can dish it out a little more as well. He picked up another offer from Knox College over the weekend.</p> <p>Carson Parker 6'8" Montgomery County: The small school big has a good combination of strength and finesse, which he uses both very effectively. He can bump and grind and back his man down in the low post for a bucket. He can also step out and him 15 to 17 footers with comfort. I always enjoy it when he throws the pinpoint pass to a cutting teammates off a double team.</p> <p>Cole Miller 6'6" St. Mary's: A versatile combo forward who is putting things together after battling injuries throughout his career. When he has things going, he can score with good moves in the post while also being able to take his man off the dribble from the wing to get a bucket. He is also a solid perimeter shooter.</p>
