The 6-foot-4 three-point marksman has collected offers from Army West Point, Harding, and Dallas Baptist while also having an official visit scheduled with North Dakota.
IN HIS WORDS
Army West Point: “Everything the school has to offer will set me up for the rest of my life. I love the coaching staff and feel that it could be a good fit for me”
Dallas Baptist: “I have been on their campus for an individual workout. I really love the Christian background and I feel comfortable around the coaches. Their system fits my playstyle really well.”
North Dakota: “They have not offered but I am going on an official visit there next month. I love the new coaching staff. They came from Northern State (a Division II school in South Dakota). The staff has been recruiting me since they were there for the last couple of months and have continued to recruit me since the recent job change.”
BOTTOM LINE
Garner has been one of the most slept on, but consistent rising senior prospects in the state throughout the grassroots season. His breakout came at the NCAA Basketball Academy in Houston where he drilled in nine three-pointers while under the scope of numerous collegiate coaching staffs.
The Byron Nelson/3D Empire sharpshooter says he plans on making his decision before the high school season to get it out the way and focus on his senior campaign. He also mentioned that the majors each school provides and the overall fit will play will the biggest role in his college choice.
